Today, more than 8 million households across the country will receive the second of up to three Cost of Living payments in time for winter.

More than 10,000 households in The Wrekin constituency will benefit from this support.

In total, the Cost of Living payments for this year add up to £900 for households on means-tested benefits.

On top of this, nearly three million people will receive the Warm Home Discount, a £150 rebate on their electricity bills, and the £25 Cold Weather Payment.

This support will help households through the winter months while the Government works to make sure inflation keeps falling.
