Today in Parliament, Mark met with the Breast Cancer Now team to hear about their work to improve the lives of people affected by breast cancer.
Every year in the UK, 55,000 women and 400 men are diagnosed with breast cancer.
Across the West Midlands, more than 1100 people on average will die from breast cancer every year, but only 67% of women in Shropshire attended their breast screening appointments when invited.
Following the event, Mark said, "I would encourage everyone who is invited for a screening to take that opportunity."
