Mark has called on Health and Social Care Ministers to agree a timetable for the completion of the proposed new GP surgery in Shifnal.
NHS England has advised that the final business case for the proposed new GP surgery in Shifnal will be presented at the next Primary Care Commissioning Committee in December 2021. Mr Pritchard has sent a letter to Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Clinical Commissioning Group to express his support for the business case.
Commenting, The Rt Hon Mark Pritchard MP said:
"Along with Councillor Ed Bird and others, I have been pressing the Clinical Commissioning Group to get on with the new GP surgery. With the increasing number of new homes in Shifnal and growing demand for primary care, it is vital that the new GP surgery is built as soon as possible".

We have no current plans to do so. NHS England advises that the final business case for the proposed new surgery in Shifnal is due to be presented at the next Primary Care Commissioning Committee in December.
