In today's Shropshire Star, Mark has welcomed plans to reduce the 2 metre social distancing rule to help businesses in Shropshire.

"Reducing the 2 metre social distancing rule to '1 metre plus' will prevent companies from being forced out of business and save jobs in Telford & Wrekin and Shropshire.  It will help get the local economy back on track.and, for many local businesses, could be the difference between survival and closing down.  It will also save jobs in the local leisure, tourism and hospitality sectors and allow for a welcome return to part-normality."
