Mark was pleased to meet with representatives of the Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis charity in Parliament.
Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a terminal lung disease which restricts the breathing of those affected. Up to 20,000 people are diagnosed with PF each year.
Diagnosing PF can take time because its symptoms (shortness of breath, tiredness, chest pain and swelling in the legs) are similar to those of many other heart and lung conditions.
Raising awareness is vital to ensure that patients can recognise symptoms and manage the condition.
