Today in Parliament, Mark asked the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport about her plans for funding of youth organisations given the Government's intention to cut funding for cadet forces.

Commenting, Mark said:

"Cadet forces are a vital part of Shropshire's uniformed youth services provision. Thousands of young people benefit hugely from their varied activities and training. The Government should not be cutting their funding."
