Mark has met representatives of Blue Cross UK (and rescue dog Martha!) in Parliament to discuss their recommendations to improve the welfare of dogs.

The charity's proposals include a more robust system of registration and licensing for breeding and selling dogs, laws banning breeding dogs when it’s likely to lead to welfare issues for the mother or puppies, responsible dog ownership courses, and a ban on shock collars.
