*** Banning Exports of Live Animals for Slaughter ***

One of the reasons I entered politics was to improve animal welfare.

There have been no exports of live animals for slaughter from the UK since 2021, and I am pleased that a Conservative Government is today bringing in a Bill to make the ban permanent.

I have received dozens of emails from constituents supporting this Bill - and it has my support too.
