John Campion, West Mercia's Police and Crime Commissioner, has today released £600,000 for projects to improve safety on the Shropshire section of the A41.
Some of the funding can be used to install average-speed cameras.
After years of campaigning to make the A41 safer for all road users, Mark is pleased that this funding has been made available. He wants to see average speed cameras put in place to help reduce the number of road accidents, deaths and injuries on that stretch of road.
