The previous Conservative government worked hard to limit Russian energy revenues by banning the import of Russian liquified natural gas (LNG) and banning exports of energy-related goods to Russia in order to damage Russia's LNG production.

Mark asked the new Foreign Ministers how they will ensure that companies which manage and insure the shipping of LNG are forced to comply with UK sanctions against Russia.

The Ministers responded that they will enforce the sanctions implemented by the Conservatives in government, and crack down on those who seek to circumvent them.
