£6.3 million boost for Shropshire A&E

Mark Pritchard MP has welcomed news that The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust has been awarded £6.3m by the Government to help prepare for increased demand over winter.

The funding will be used to create a new Same Day Emergency Care centre, and expand the current A&E, at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
