New Government Support for Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin Councils

*** New Government Support for Our Local Councils ***

Since the start of the Covid-19 outbreak, the Government has provided an extra £20 million to Telford & Wrekin Council and an extra £33 million to Shropshire Council.

The Government has now confirmed that an extra £1 billion will be given to local councils to help them support communities, assist the most vulnerable, protect services and back local businesses.
