Mark met with Pete Starling, Chairman of Allscott Heath Sports Club, at the club today to see its fantastic new facilities.

A £475,000 grant from the Government's Football Foundation, the Premier League and the Football Association has funded a new pavilion and grass pitch upgrades at the club.

Additional funding has come from Sport England British Sugar and SJ Roberts Homes to improve the facilities.

Local teams include Allscott Heath FC, Allscott Heath Cricket Club, and Allscott Heath Ladies.

This is a superb new facility for Allscott and the local community. With 550 members and 35 cricket, football and bowls teams, the club is a huge credit to Pete and his team.
