This morning, families awaiting the Ockenden Independent Maternity Review report into baby deaths in Shropshire (which was expected to be published on 22 March) were informed that, due to a number of unspecified “parliamentary processes”, the report would now be delayed.
Today in Parliament Mark asked Deputy Speaker Dame Eleanor Laing what advice she could give me about ensuring that the Ockenden review is published as quickly as possible, as the delay is causing his constituents significant concern and added anxiety.
