Mark Calls for New Defence Contracts for Shropshire Businesses

Today in Parliament, Mark Pritchard MP called on the Government to award the Challenger 2 Tank Life Extension Programme contract to Shropshire's first class defence engineers.

Speaking in the debate, Mark said:

"The Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin area is becoming a crucial defence hub, not only for the UK but for Europe.  I want Government Ministers to be aware of our local defence manufacturing expertise when they award future defence contracts, including for the Challenger 2 Tank Life Extension Programme."
