The Coronavirus crisis has many people isolated and cut off from friends and family.
While it can be tough to stay at home all day, for many people it can mean being alone in care homes or hospital, with no visitors and limited entertainment.
In a bid to ease loneliness, Telford & Wrekin Council is launching a fundraising drive to buy 200 Kindles - or similar devices - to be donated for use at the Women’s and Children’s Centre at the Princess Royal Hospital and to care homes across the borough.
