Mark Attends Remembrance Service at St Andrew's Church in Shifnal

Today, Mark attended the Remembrance Sunday service at St Andrew's Church in Shifnal.

After the service, Mark said:

"It was a great honour to attend the Remembrance Sunday service at St Andrew's Church in Shifnal earlier today. Thank you to all who worked so hard to make the service such a special occasion. It was great to see people of all ages and so many local groups, charities and organisations represented.

"Thank you to the Shifnal branch of the Royal British Legion for such a moving and memorable service. As the excellent Reverend Chris Thorpe commented, it was 'possibly the largest gathering at such a service'. Freedom is not free. It is right to honour the fallen and salute the service of those who serve - and who have served. Thank you to all those serving at RAF Cosford and MOD Donnington."
