Mark Attends Launch of National Farmers Union Manifesto

I was pleased to meet with Minette Batters, President of the National Farmers Union, at the launch of the NFU Manifesto.

According to the NFU, agriculture makes a £127 billion contribution to the UK economy and 471,000 people work on farms.

Farming is a significant part of Shropshire's economy and I want to see the sector continue to expand, modernise and flourish.
