Telford and Wrekin Conservative Group Leader, Councillor Andrew Eade, today called for a Judicial Review over Shropshire's Future Fit decision on the reconfiguration of Shropshire's hospital services.

Mr Pritchard said: "The consultation process was very rushed towards the end and I think this may have overlooked vital demographic and sociological data, which will have a material impact on the hospital bosses flawed decision"

Cllr Eade said: "The Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee have had concerns for a while about the integrity of the consultation exercise. My view is that the only way to ensure the health trust's decision on this was taken for right reasons is to hold a Judicial Review. I will be writing to Cllr Sean Davies asking him to get on with it, rather than just chasing headlines.."
